Deep Sea Arcade & Surf City Aus Tour Giveaway

If you’re feeling truly “festival’d out” (like I was last night when a girl at Good Vibrations casually threw up in my general vicinity, thankfully not directly on me, but there was definitely some splash back), then maybe take a break from the big lineups, heat strokes, silly sluts and watered-down beers, and instead come chill at on of our favourite venues, Woodland Bar, this Saturday for a co-headlining show between DEEP SEA ARCADE and SURF CITY.
The two bands have been playing many a show along the east coast this month as part of their dual tour, and thanks to Happy Endings we have 2 double passes to giveaway to Deep Sea Arcade & Surf City’s Brisbane show @ Woodland with special guests Mosman Alder.

TO WIN: email friends@batsmagazine.com with the subject as ‘DSA & SC’ along with your full name to enter (18+ only). Click here for more information.
Kate Nash Giveaway

If you’re like me and live in Brisbane, you may have been looking longingly at the Playground Weekender lineup, wishing the venue was a little bit further up the coast, because really my car couldn’t handle another road trip this summer and I’m not readily going to buy plane tickets to Sydney (suck me off Jetstar). Fortunately there has been a number of sideshows being announced, from LAMB to De La Soul and now indie-pop-darling KATE NASH, who is playing a few shows up and down the east coast of our bipolar weather country.

Thanks to Playground Weekender, we have a 1 double pass to giveaway to Kate Nash’s Brisbane show & The Hi-Fi. TO WIN: email friends@batsmagazine.com with the subject as ‘KATE’ along with your full name to enter (18+ only).
